Welcome to Tribe School

Together, we'll find our own path.

Tribe School is a workbook for people building work that matters.

We take a human rights-based approach to work, grounded in the belief that access to meaningful work and economic participation should be inclusive, dignified, and equitable. We know that women, LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse people often face compounded barriers to building sustainable work and businesses, and Tribe School exists to meet those barriers directly, with content designed around real lives, not around who business support usually assumes you are.

Work, Meaning & the Life You're Making workbook combines thoughtful, high quality content with reflective practice, helping you grow your work in a way that is sustainable, meaningful, and aligned with your values. You can work through it alone, at your own pace, but we highly recommend doing it as part of a group.

We recommend a group of four to eight people, working through the material together over nine weeks, though the pace is set by the group. Coming together regularly gives space to reflect, reconnect, and stay grounded, alongside others who understand what it takes to build something meaningful on your own terms.

This is a resource for enterprising and creative people who want to do business differently, developing the skills, perspective, building in wellness practices, and courage to create the change they want to see, in their work and in the world around them.

The Workbook will

  • Reflect on what you really want from life and work ,

  • Learn new skills, grow your business knowledge and tap into your entrepreneurial thinking,

  • Create a plan to help you move forward with honesty and intention,

  • Grow a small community of individuals who all know you in a working context.
